Ingredients:
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400F 200C
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, paprika, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and pepper
Place chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Rub spice mixture all over the chicken thighs
In another bowl, whisk together maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and rosemary
Brush half of the maple syrup mixture over the chicken thighs
Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes
Brush remaining maple syrup mixture over the chicken thighs and continue to roast for another 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear
Serve hot, garnished with fresh rosemary sprigs, if desired
