Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- Ketchup and mustard for topping
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, diced onions, milk, salt, and black pepper
Mix well
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat
Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach your desired level of doneness
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly browned
Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on the bottom bun
Add a cheesy burger patty on top of the tomato
Sprinkle a generous amount of crispy fried onions on top of each patty
Spread ketchup and mustard on the top bun, then place it on top of the crispy fried onions to complete the burger
Serve hot with your favorite side dishes
