Ingredients:
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 store-bought pecan pie, crumbled
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Graham cracker crumbs for garnish
Instructions:
Vanilla pudding mix and cold milk should be mixed together in a bowl until the mixture is smooth
Cool in the fridge until set
Mix the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream in a different bowl
Whip the mixture until stiff peaks form
Carefully fold the whipped cream into the pudding mix that has been chilled until everything is well mixed
Put crumbled pecan pie at the bottom of serving glasses or trifle bowls
Put a lot of the pudding and whipped cream mixture on top of the pecan pie layer
Repeat the layers until the glasses are full
Add a dollop of whipped cream on top to finish
To make it more interesting and tasty, sprinkle chopped pecans and graham cracker crumbs on top
Put it in the fridge for at least two hours before you serve it
Enjoy the tasty Pecan Pie Trifle while its still cold
